Community Foundation announces over $5 million in annual grant making

SALISBURY, Md. – The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore recently announced a total of $5.4 million in charitable grants for the 2018 fiscal year.

These funds were awarded through over 1,500 grants supporting various community needs across the Lower Eastern Shore, along with over 350 scholarships totaling $570,000.

The Community Foundation plans to celebrate their annual grant making achievements at the 2018 Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon, scheduled to take place on November 2nd at the Fountains Wedding and Conference Center in Salisbury. This luncheon will feature a report on the Foundation’s philanthropic activities over the past year, highlight philanthropic initiatives serving the lower shore, and announce the winners of the 2018 Community Foundation Awards.
