Chesapeake Celtic Festival returning to Snow Hill
SNOW HILL, Md. – A Delmarva tradition is returning to Snow Hill for its 29th year.
The Chesapeake Celtic Festival will take place at the Furnace Town Living Heritage Village on October 6th and 7th. Gates open at 11 AM on Saturday, and at 10:30 AM on Sunday for the 11 AM Celtic Chapel Service.
The Festival will feature various music and dance performances, re-enactment groups presenting a re-creation of lifestyles of the people from long ago, storytelling, delicious food, and much more.
Opening ceremonies will be held at noon both days and will be lead by a parade by the Ocean City Pipe and Drum Band.
Parking at Furnace Town is free. There will also be a shuttle provided from Sturgis Park to Furnace Town. More information on the festival and entrance prices can be found here.
