Bennett holds off Queen Anne’s in shootout, moves to 6-1

The James M. Bennett Clippers improved to 6-1 on the season, edging Queen Anne’s on Saturday afternoon in Salisbury.

Bennett got two rushing scores from senior RB Saquan Cotton, and a rushing and receiving score from senior slot Braden Glushakow. For QA, Hassan Biggus finished with four total touchdowns, including three on the ground.

Bennett will try to knock off undefeated North Caroline (7-0) on Thursday, October 18th in Ridgely, while QA hosts WiHi Friday.
