SALISBURY, Md. – Maintaining Active Citizens (MAC), Inc., will host two great events on the same day, in one convenient location.

The Antiques Appraisal Fair and the Thrive: Senior Life After 55 senior expo are both scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 13th, at the MAC Center in Salisbury.

If you’re looking to clean out your attic and want to know what your treasures are worth, the Antiques Appraisal Fair is for you. Antique experts Charlene Upham and Steve Blumenauer will be at the fair, offering fair verbal appraisals of antiques, jewelry, collectibles, silver, and more. If you have larger items you would like appraised, you are asked to bring photos of the items.

Thrive: Senior Life After 55 is a senior expo that will feature displays by area businesses and services with information to help those aged 55 and over enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle. There will also be door prizes and other various giveaways.

Both events will begin at 10 AM and run until 3 PM. MAC is located off of Snow Hill Road in Salisbury, behind the Holly Center. Admission to both events is free; the charge for appraisals is $5 for one item or $10 for three.

If you would like more information on either event, you can call 410-742-0505.
