CAMBRIDGE, Md. – If you have family heirlooms you’d like to get appraised, the upcoming Antiques Appraisal fair might be the event for you.

Antiques dealers and appraisers Charlene Upham and her husband, Steve Blumenauer will be present to conduct verbal fair market appraisals on a wide variety of antiques, such as jewelry, silver, coins and currency, artwork, sculptures, art glass, china, porcelain, toys, furniture, and much more.

If you have items that are too big to bring to the Appraisal, bringing in clear photos of the item(s) from different angles will help in determining the fair market value.

The fee for appraisals is $5 per item, or $10 for three items. This event will benefit the Dorchester County Historical Society and its efforts to continue its mission.

The fair will take place on October 26th, from 3 PM to 8 PM, at the Heritage Museums and Gardens of Dorchester, located at 1003 Greenway Drive in Cambridge. If you would like more information, you may call 410-228-7953 or email dchs@verizon.net.
