Annual Halloween festival to support local animal rescue groups

MILFORD, Del. – People dressed up their dogs, cats and even bunny rabbits in unique Halloween costumes all with the goal of helping other animals in need find their forever homes.

The Howlin’ Halloween Party is an event hosted by the local Fur Baby Boutique, Daycare & Spa.

According to the spa owner, pets dress up in costumes and even get a trick-or-treat of their own. Also, some of the money collected during the event are donated to animal rescues like One Dog More.

“So, today is our 8th Annual Howlin’ Halloween Party,” said Sherry Shupe, the owner of Fur Baby Boutique, Daycare & Spa.

“It’s an adoption day for adoptable dogs and it’s just a good time for pets to come out,” said Shupe.

Shupe also said the event is a chance for animals to get vaccination and to enjoy some all-natural treats.
