Altercation leads to assault charges for a Salisbury man
SALISBURY, Md. – An altercation between two people led to the arrest of a Salisbury man on assault charges last week.
On October 10th, at 8:45 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico Sheriffs Office was called to investigate a reported altercation at a residence located in the 1800 block of Thomas Lane. When the deputy arrived, they learned that a female victim had gotten into an argument with her estranged husband, 24-year-old Steavon Williams, when he allegedly assaulted her.
Following further investigation, Williams was arrested and taken to the Central Booking Unit for processing. He was charged with second degree assault and released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
