Storm Chances Start Reducing Tonight
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with spotty storms early and lows in the low to mid 70s. Skies will improve to partly sunny on Sunday allowing highs to climb into the mid to upper 80s with isolated chances of storms. Sunday night will be warm and partly cloudy with a few early evening storms and readings in the low to mid 70s.
Mostly sunny skies return on Monday as the thermometer approaches 90° with a stray chance of a thunderstorm. Heat indices on Tuesday and Wednesday will likely be above 100°, under mostly sunny and highs in the low 90s. The heat breaks down slightly on Thursday as the mercury dips slightly below 90° under mostly sunny skies.
Friday brings partly sunny skies, readings in the mid 80s and spotty storms in the afternoon. Storm chances increase on Friday night as a front enters Delmarva. The unsettled weather will continue for Saturday as skies turn mostly cloudy with scattered showers or storms but with highs in the low 80s.
