Sussex Tech rolls Milford with statement week one win

Sussex Tech opened up their season with a convincing win over the 2017 state runner up Milford Bucs. The Ravens had a huge game from running backs Andrell Fulton and Michael Norsworthy combining for over 200 yards on the ground.

Fulton would open up the scoring early in the first, taking a handoff up the gut 30 yards to the endzone untouched.  A couple minutes later, Norsworthy would get into the scoring action, taking a Milford punt 45 yards to the house to put Tech up 14-0. After a lightning delay, Milford would gain some momentum and  put together a decent drive getting down inside the redzone. From there Fullback Rodney Robinson did his thing, bowling his way through the defense into the endzone to get the Bucs on the board making it 14-7.

In the second half the Ravens started out hot.  Fulton would score his second touchdown of the game off of a 60 yard to make it a 2 score game. From there it would be all Tech, Defensive back Jordan Harper would have 2 picks and returned one for a touchdown as the Ravens would go on to win 30-13.

Sussex Tech will look to improve to 2-0 as they take on Salesianum next Friday September 14th at 7:30 p.m.. The Bucs will try and get their first win of the season when they travel to Baynard Stadium and play Delaware Military Academy on Saturday September 15th at 7 p.m.
