Salisbury Mayor reflects on city’s first National Folk Festival

SALISBURY, Md. – The city’s first ever National Folk Festival has come to a close. And if you can believe it or not, organizers are already preparing for next year’s festival.

Despite the rain, thousands of people made their way to downtown Salisbury for the festival this weekend.

47 ABC caught up with Salisbury Mayor Jake Day to talk about how the festival went this year.

Day says there was about 67,000 to 75,000 people in attendance over the three days.
