Salisbury gas station broken into

SALISBURY, Md. – In the early hours of the morning on Monday, one local gas station in Salisbury was robbed of thousands of dollars.
The owners of Cross Roads Food Market, a gas station located on Old Ocean City Road, said someone broke into their store through their back door around 5 AM Monday, took all the cash they had from the register as well as the safe and took off.
The owners are devastated about this robbery and are now trying to get back what they lost and they have a message for anyone who is even considering robbing an establishment like theirs.
Kush Amin, the son of the owner said, “At this point we let the police know we let our landlord know at this point we’re just trying to recover anything, recover everything that was lost, hopefully police will help us out.”
He continued to say, “There’s no point in doing this type of stuff. if you need money just work hard for it, you don’t have to rob us or rob any one in general at all.”
The Amin family said they now hope to upgrade their security systems so that this doesn’t ever happen to them again and they encourage other gas station owners to do the same.
