Republican candidate receives nomination in primary election

DELAWARE – Voters have determined which Republican candidate will be on the November ballot for State Representative District 35.
According to the Delaware Board of Elections, Jesse Vanderwende won the Republican nomination for State Representative District 35. Vanderwende received 66 percent of the votes over fellow Republican Robert Mitchell in the primary election.
Vanderwende’s name will be on the ballot in November.
The general election will take place November 6.
