PRMC opens new endocrinology center in Berlin

BERLIN, Md. – Officials with the Peninsula Regional Medical Center have opened it’s new endocrinology center in Berlin in order to provide better services for patients across Delmarva. Officials say it’s important to expand high quality health care services to under-served areas. They add that they hope the new center will bring these types of services closer to their patients that live in beach communities as far as Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. Health officials also say that easier access to this type of care can help people stay well and out of the hospital.

“The endocrinology community has been more need for more growing we just haven’t had more endocrinologists. We thought having several offices would be such an important thing to help out the patients,” said Endocrinologist Jack Snitzer, DO.
