Police: Two men arrested, large amount of marijuana and mushrooms

EASTON, Md. – Authorities say two men were arrested on Friday after they found a large amount of drugs in their car.

Maryland State Police were conducting a traffic enforcement initiative at Chapel Road and , in Easton.

They stopped Dylan Quade Simmons of Cordova, who was driving a black 2001 BMW, with Maghnum Hastings of Denton in the passenger seat.

Police say they found a large amount of marijuana, mushrooms, over $1,800 in the car.

Both Simmons and Hastings were taken before a Talbot County District Court Commissioner.

Simmons was released on his own personal recognizance. Hastings was held on $5000 secured bond and transported to Talbot County Detention Center.
