Police investigating fatal crash in Berlin
BERLIN, Md. – The Worcester County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened in Berlin.
Police report that Russell Kenneth Mariner, a 32 year-old Snow Hill man was killed after he was ejected from his vehicle.
According to the statement, first responders pronounced Mariner dead at the scene when they found his vehicle overturned on the side of the road.
Authorities believe alcohol and speed to be factors in the crash.
The sheriff’s office reports the incident at approximately 3:07 a.m. at the 9500 block of Ironshire Station Road in Berlin.
