Parkside shuts out Queen Anne’s to remain undefeated
SALISBURY, MD– The Parkside Rams defeated Queen Anne’s 1-0 in a highly anticipated matchup. The win keeps the Rams undefeated season alive for another week and the loss drops the Lions to .500 with a 2-2 record.
The scoring started early with a Parkside goal from their team leader in goals Caroline Pusey in the 11th minute.
Both teams would have plenty of scoring opportunities but it all came down to the final 30 seconds. Wit multiple shots on goal the Lions had many chances to score the equalizer but they were all denied by senior keeper Hannah Mascana as time would run out.
Parkside will look to stay undefeated when they take on Kent Island Wednesday the 26th. The Lions will look to get above .500 on Monday the 24th when they travel to take on North Caroline
