New ‘Black Panther’ Exhibit showcased at UMES

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.– In this week’s College Corner, 47 ABC’s Erica Murphy was joined by  Brad Hudson, a Professor of Sequential Arts at University of Maryland Eastern Shore, to learn about an exciting new exhibit at their Mosely Gallery.

It features the original artwork by the 1970s African-American comics artist Billy Graham, who was a credited with illustrating the first African-American superhero known as Black Panther.

Graham’s family loaned UMES some of his early works which have never been part of any formal public exhibit.

An opening reception will take place on September 27th from 4-6 PM at the Mosely Gallery. The exhibit is free of charge.
