MILFORD, Del. – A Milford woman was arrested after police say she was fighting with another woman at a park and then tried to run away from police, several times.

The 29-year-old Milford resident ran away from police but was taken into custody without incident. Once she was at the Milford Police Department, Shockley reportedly tried to escape but was apprehended.

Shockley is charged with resisting arrest, attempted escape 3rd degree, disorderly conduct and unlawful to consume any alcoholic beverage upon public streets, parks, alleys.

On Monday, Shockely was arraigned and committed to the Department of Corrections due to her intoxication. On Tuesday, Sept. 18, she was released on $2600.00 unsecured bail with a no contact order with Memorial Park.
