Man sought in connection with Del. fight

LAUREL, Del. – Authorities are looking for a Seaford man after police say shots were fired and a large crowd was involved in a fight in Laurel.
The Laurel Police Department says on Monday, just after 10:30 PM, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of W. 7th Street for a large crowd fighting and shots being fired. Once on scene, police say they encountered several subjects actively fighting. Authorities then intervened.
According the report, during the intervention, 27-year-old Quentin Floyd assaulted an officer. Floyd, of Laurel, was arrested and charged with offensively touching a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct.
Police say the officer was treated by EMS on-scene for injuries sustained during the incident and has since been released.
Authorities report that all subjects involved were not able to be detained due to the large volume of people. Laurel PD says they are actively looking for 27-year-old Jerron Henry on the charge of disorderly conduct.
Anyone with information related the incident or Henry’s whereabouts is asked to call the Laurel Police Department at 302-875-2244 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
