First ever “Big Truck Day” to take place at Delaware Seashore State Park
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – DNREC’s Division of Parks and Recreation will host their first ever “Big Truck Day” event next week.
The event will take place at Delaware Seashore State Park at the Indian River Marina on Saturday, October 6th, from 10 AM to 1 PM. This event is free with paid park entry.
This family-friendly event will offer the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the park’s heavy equipment and special use vehicles.
A variety of different vehicles will be featured at this event, including a beach sweeper, front-end loader, minibus, DNREC dump truck, a Natural Resources Police vehicle, and more.
Weather-permitting, a vessel from the U.S. Coast Guard Station Indian River will be docked at the marina. A demonstration of marina equipment in action will also be featured.
Participants will also have the chance to have their car seat inspected for safety, free of charge.
