Fatal accident along Rt. 50 in Easton

EASTON, Md.- State Police are investigating a fatal accident that happened on Route 50 and Schwaninger Road.

Police say they responded to the scene shortly before 5:00 p.m. Reportedly the driver,  Marguerite Colvin was found unconscious in the driver’s seat. Police say it appeared she had hit a guardrail and continued into an Easton Utilities pole .

CPR was performed on Colvin at the scene. She was later  pronounced dead at Easton Memorial Hospital. We’re told three other passengers received minor injuries
