“Echoes and Visions” reading to be held at Wor-Wic Community College
SALISBURY, Md. – One local college is hosting an upcoming reading event, and the public is invited to attend.
On Friday, October 12th, Wor-Wic Community College is hosting a free reading of “Echoes & Visions”, the college’s creative arts journal. This event will feature a keynote author, James Allen Hall, as well as readings by current and former students whose work has been featured in the 30th anniversary issue of the journal.
James Allen Hall’s works include “Now You’re the Enemy”, a published book of poetry, and “I Liked You Before I Knew You So Well”, a collection of lyric essays. Hall has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation of the Arts, and has been a resident of the University of Arizona Poetry Center. He is an associate professor of English and director of the Rose O’Neill Literary House at Washington College, in Chestertown.
This event will begin at 7 PM and will take place in Room 302 of the Hazel Center. It is completely open to the public.
