Easton Police holding “Coffee with a Cop”

EASTON, Md. – Easton Police are teaming up with the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office to host an open community event.

“Coffee with a Cop” will take place on Wednesday, October 3rd, from 9 AM to 11 AM at the St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, in Easton.

The goal of this event is to give residents the opportunity to meet their local law enforcement officers and learn more about their departments, ask questions, and voice concerns about their community.

This event is completely informal, so residents can be comfortable discussing various community issues such as criminal activity, crime prevention, and relationships with local law enforcement.

The objective is for police officers to work on building relationships with local citizens, hopefully leading to more positive interactions and a willingness to work together in crime prevention.
