Dover Police investigating attempted burglary

DOVER, Del. – An attempted burglary that took place overnight on Monday is currently under investigation.

At approximately 1:45 AM, officers were called to respond to the Check-N-Go located at 283 N. DuPont Highway, for a report of an attempted burglary.

Officials say that two suspects reportedly broke the front door and crawled inside the business. The suspects then attempted to open a safe inside the business, but were unsuccessful. They subsequently fled in the direction of the White Oak Condominium complex.

The suspects have been described as two tall, thin males, wearing all black.
