Dover Police arrest woman following incident at Dover apartment complex

DOVER, Del. – A Dover woman has been arrested after reportedly attempting to hit another woman with her vehicle multiple times, on Monday.

At approximately 1:32 PM, Dover Police officers were called to respond to the area of the Country Club Apartments, located at Greenway Square, in Dover. Officers made contact with a 41-year-old female victim, who reported that 45-year-old Keyon Smith attempted to back into her with her vehicle multiple times.

A nearby witness confirmed the incident to police, stating that Smith fled in an unknown direction following the incident.

Smith later turned herself in at the Dover Police Department. She was charged with aggravated menacing and possession of a deadly weapon during commission of felony.
