Caesar Rodney takes five-set thriller over Indian River

CAMDEN, Del.– After falling behind 2-0 to Indian River, the Caesar Rodney girls volleyball team strung together three straight sets to defeat the Indians at home.

IR got out ahead in part to the strong play from senior outside hitter Raychel Ehlers, but CR weathered the storm in sets three, four and five.

Riders’ Jess Crawford placed an ace to force the decisive set five, and from there, Crawford, Chloe Mangubat, and Amanda Eric willed CR to a 2-0 start in 2018.
