Bulldogs trounce Vikings, win big on short rest

The North Caroline Bulldogs showed no signs of weariness, after playing their second game in a span of 5 days and defeating Cambridge- South Dorchester 45-6 on Wednesday night in Ridgely.

The ‘Dawgs, who defeated Parkside 20-0 on the road on Saturday, showed no signs of sluggishness- and got off to a fast start. Will Manship punched in the first score just 2:13 into the game, carrying a sweep off the right side into the endzone. Manship would also score in the game on runs of 13 and 2. In all, North Caroline would take a 33-0 lead into the half, and outscore CSD 12-6 in the second half. The lone Viking touchdown came on a 66-yard fumble return by defensive back Kanye Pinder.

In all, 5 Bulldogs contributed to 7 total rushing touchdowns. The win moves North Caroline to 3-0, while the loss leaves Cambridge at 1-2.
