Atlantic General Hospital to provide community flu clinics
BERLIN, Md. – Several community flu clinics are coming to the Eastern Shore during the month of October.
The Atlantic General Hospital Health System (AGH) will be providing community flu vaccination clinics once again for those ages 13 and older. Patients of AGHS providers can call to schedule their flu shots or inquire about walk-in availability.
Community flu clinics are scheduled as follows:
- Tuesday October 2nd, 10 AM to 2PM, at the Pocomoke Fire Department, located at 1410 Market Street Pocomoke, Md. 21851
- Saturday October 6th, 8 AM to 12 PM, at the Health Fair at Ocean Pines Community Center, located at 235 Ocean Parkway Ocean Pines, Md. 21811
- Tuesday October 9th, 10 AM to 2 PM, at Taylor Bank (Snow Hill Branch), located at 108 West Market Street Snow Hill, Md. 21863
- Wednesday October 10th and Wednesday October 17th, both 2 PM to 6 PM, at Atlantic General Hospital, located at 9733 Healthway Dr Berlin, Md. 21811 (participants are asked to please use the emergency room entrance)
- Thursday October 18th, 3 PM to 6 PM, at Atlantic General Primary Care, located at 96 Atlantic Ave Ocean View, De. 19970
- Wednesday October 24th, 1 PM to 4 PM, at Atlantic General Women’s Health, located at 38394 Dupont Blvd Unit H, Selbyville, De. 19975
- Thursday October 25th, 10 AM to 1 PM, at Holy Savior Catholic Church, located at 1705 Philadelphia Ave, Ocean City, Md. 21842
Community members can also receive their flu shot at Townsend Medical Center on 10th Street in Ocean City. No appointment is needed. If you are in need of the high dose flu vaccine, you are asked to contact your primary care provider or the RediScripts pharmacy in the main lobby at AGH, as these clinics to not offer the high dose vaccine.
