Annual “Taste of the Town” competition returning to downtown Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. –  Local restaurants will once again face off in a popular local culinary competition.

The 11th annual “Taste of the Town”, hosted by the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, will take place on October 11th, from 6 PM to 8 PM. This annual event provides local restaurants with the opportunity to take part in an “Iron Chef” style culinary competition and showcase a signature dish.

Attendees sample each participating restaurant’s dish and vote for their favorite. The restaurant with the most votes at the end of the event is named the winner and will receive a plaque and cash prize.

This year’s event will be held at the Salisbury University Art Gallery Downtown, located at 212 W. Main Street, Suite 201, in Salisbury.

Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door. Ticket includes unlimited food samples, one voting ticket, and two drink tickets. Beverages will be featured from Evolution Craft Brewing, as well as Layton’s Chance and Bordeleau wineries. This event is open to anyone aged 21 and over.
