Woodbridge looking to get back to states after a one year hiatus

GREENWOOD, Del.- The Woodbridge Blue Raiders were on top of the world in 2016, 13-0, winning the schools first ever state championship and all of their stars returning the next year.
Losing three games in 2017, including a first round playoff loss to Milford, the Blue Raiders are coming back this year with something to prove.
Retuning many of the stars from their 2016 state championship run, Woodbridge looks like they’ll be the team to beat in the competitive Henlopen conference.
Head coach Ed Manlove says returning seniors, six all conference, with state championship experience will be a huge part of the teams success this year.
Woodbridge will open up the season on Friday September 7th against Cambridge South-Dorchester at home.
