UPDATE: Vehicle theft investigation ongoing in Milford; truck located in Del.

A vehicle theft remains under investigation after police say a truck owned by the City of Milford was located in Delaware on Wednesday afternoon. 

The Milford Police Department says on Wednesday, shortly after 5:00 AM, a white 2006 Chevrolet Colorado was taken from the parking lot of Milford Parks and Recreation, on Franklin Street. Police say the vehicle was believed to be in Georgetown shortly after the theft. According to the report, the City of Milford Logo below was on both doors and the back of the truck.

Authorities say the photos of the truck and the spray tank are similar to the actual vehicle and the tank in the bed of the truck. After 2:00 PM, police say the stolen vehicle was located on Community Lane in Selbyville,

This incident remains under investigation.
