A few showers and storms are possible tonight as a front hangs around the region, but most showers should diminish after midnight. Temperatures will be in the low 70s.
Saturday will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy with scattered storms popping up through the day. Highs will be in the mid 80s. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies on Sunday with highs in the mid 80s and just a slight chance for an afternoon thunderstorm. Labor Day will be warmer with highs in the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. An isolated afternoon storm is possible.
Another potential heat wave is in the works starting Tuesday. Temperatures will be close to 90 degrees with mostly sunny skies. Expect mainly sunny conditions to continue into Wednesday with highs remaining in the low 90s. Thursday will feature sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s to near 90. Temperatures will drop slightly by Friday with highs in the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies.
