Tonight will be warm and mostly clear with lows in the lower 70s. Monday begins a hot and humid stretch on Delmarva , as the thermometer soars into the lower 90s under mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday will consist of heat indices above 100°, while highs climb into the mid 90s under plentiful sunshine. Wednesday will be hot and mostly sunny with readings in the mid 90s. Thursday will be mostly sunny and likely be the last day of this late summer heat wave, as the mercury dips slightly into the lower 90s.

A front nears Delmarva on Thursday night, enhancing the chance of scattered storms on Friday; which will finally bring readings down into the mid 80s under partly sunny skies. Saturday and Sunday will consist of partly sunny skies, isolated storms and highs in the mid 80s.
