Suspect sought in connection with Worcester County robbery
OCEAN CITY, Md. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect after they say the individual was involved in a robbery at a Worcester County pharmacy.
The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office says on Friday, deputies responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy, on Ocean Gateway, in reference to a robbery. Deputies report that the suspect entered the pharmacy around 7:50 PM and gave a note to the pharmacist.
According to the report, the note instructed the pharmacist to give narcotics to the suspect and it also advised that violence would be done to Rite Aid and the family of the pharmacist, if they did not provide narcotics.
Deputies say the suspect was given some prescription medication and the individual then left the scene.
Law enforcement says the suspect in the photo was seen exiting the parking lot in a black Jeep Wrangler style vehicle.
