Police investigate fatal crash along route 301 in Queen Anne’s County

QUEEN ANNE’S COUNTY, Md.–Maryland State Police were on the scene a fatal accident that happened along Route 301 in Queen Anne’s County.

Police say that at 12 PM Wednesday a pickup truck, driven by 19-year old Breon Gannon of Baltimore, was traveling northbound rt. 301 at mile marker 96.

For unknown reasons at this time, we are told that the truck veered off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Gannon was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Gannon was pronounced dead at the scene.

A witness told police that there were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
