Officials: Work underway to fix water main leak in Delmar

Officials say water services for some properties in a Maryland town have been turned off. 

The Town of Delmar says on Monday, water services have been turned off for properties on Poplar Street, Spruce Street, Second Street and parts of Walnut Street as a result of a water main leak. 

Officials say the Public Works staff is working on the issue and they will notify officials when the water services have been turned back on. 

The Town of Delmar apologized of the inconvenience caused by the leak. This article will be updated as information becomes available.
