MILLSBORO PD: Free house up for grabs, moving costs not included

Do you want a free house?!
Well, if you do, the Millsboro Police Department is giving away the house next door.
As the Millsboro PD moves forward in the construction of their new police station, they have purchased this property next to them.
But in order to expand, they need to remove this house. So instead of demolishing it, they are offering it up free of charge.
And since putting this announcement on social media, they've gotten a large amount of inquiries. But of course, nothing is completely free. To move the house, it could cost up to $30-40,000 within a mile radius.
"This was just looking at, could we possibly have someone locally that would be interested in this house? Structurally, the house is in good shape and we wanted to exhaust all of those avenues before we went ahead to demolish it," Chief Brian Calloway tells 47 ABC.
If they can't find anyone to move it, they will demolish it. They hope to have the house completely gone by December.
