MDOT: Wet paint, don’t cross the line

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will be performing a mobile line striping operation this week in Worcester County.

Starting Thursday, MDOT SHA will be painting on US 113 southbound in the Pocomoke area and US 113 northbound between Newark and Berlin.

The mobile operation is expected to finish on Friday, August 3rd.

Although it is a quick job, officials ask that drivers avoid crossing freshly painted lines. We're told just a few extra minutes without traffic, can help keep the new lines sharp as they dry, minimize paint tracking across the road and reduce the possibility of paint getting on vehicles.
