Maryland man arrested in connection with reckless endangerment incident

SALISBURY, Md.  – A man was arrested on multiple charges after deputies say he pulled out a gun during an argument in Salisbury.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on Tuesday, just before 9:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of of Powhattan Boulevard for a reported disturbance involving a man with a gun. Once on scene, deputies say two victims reported that 26-year-old Darrell Jones Jr. pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victims during an argument. Jones reportedly fled into a residence before authorities arrived.

According to the report, when deputies approached the residence looking for Jones, they discovered that Jones, of Brookville, MD, escaped through a back window and fled. He was later found in the area and arrested on two counts of first degree assault, two counts of second degree assault, and two counts of reckless endangerment.

Jones was held without bond in Wicomico County.
