Local filmmakers preview Ocean City Film Festival at “Art Xpressions” art and craft show
OCEAN CITY, Md. – The “Art Xpressions” craft show featured local filmmakers in our area.
The Ocean City Film Festival may be months away, but local talent had their chance to raise the curtain and give a sneak peak of what they have been working on over the past few months.
The OC Film Festival features several original pieces from local cinematographers, including one, Vending Machine Insider, which is a parody investigative reporting piece featured as a part of the “locals” block of film showings.
One local filmmaker tells us its not just about showing off his work.
B.L. Strang–Moya says its an outlet for movie makers and movie aficionados to come together and have this platform of expression without having to travel all the way to Hollywood.
Strang–Moya said, “We want the local talent to be engaged in the community.” He also said, “It’s very important that these local filmmakers have a platform.”
The actual Ocean City Film Festival, which will feature work from local cinematographers, will take place March 8th through March 10th of 2019.
