In Worcester County, law enforcement is giving the public a chance to see what it's like their shoes.

Ocean City Police, Ocean Pines Police , Maryland State Police and the Worcester County Sheriff's office announced they will be teaming up to put on their Citizen's Police Academy.

It's a ten week course where regular citizens and even aspiring officers can gain some hands-on experience by shooting at the firearms range, running traffic radar, processing mock crime scenes and much more.

If you'd like to sign up OC Police is accepting applications until September 4th.

The program starts on September 11th.
