Investigation ongoing after armed robbery in Delaware
GREENWOOD, Del. – An armed robbery remains under investigation after troopers say the incident happened in Greenwood on Wednesday night.
Delaware State Police say around 11:05 PM, a 21-year-old man was unloading a forklift at Atlantic Aluminum, on Nanticoke Business Park Drive, when he was approached by a man with a handgun. Troopers say the man demanded the victim’s wallet. Authorities report that the suspect then fled the area on foot after the victim turned over his wallet.
According to law enforcement, the suspect is described as 5’10” to 5’11” tall, weighing 175 to 200 lbs., and wearing dark colored pants and a hooded sweatshirt.
Troopers report that the 21-year-old victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
This incident remains under investigation by DSP.
