City Of Salisbury to receive $1 million in grant money for downtown projects

SALISBURY, Md. A major announcement came from the state capital in Annapolis.

We are told that the city of Salisbury will be will be receiving a grant of $1M for downtown revitalization.

The move was given final approval by Governor Larry Hogan today. This is the tweet from Delegate Carl Anderton who was there at the state house.

The grant will specifically go towards things like construction, repair, and infrastructure upgrades including new Main Street streetscapes, storm water system upgrades and the installation of a broadband fiber optic cable.
Other counties here on the shore such as Dorchester, Talbot, Worcester, Caroline and Queen Anne’s are also getting money for land preservation and historic sites.
