Cambridge officials hold revitalization fair for residents

Revitalization Fair

CAMBRIDGE, Md – In Cambridge, officials held a revitalization fair for families in an effort to educate residents about the town’s plan to revitalize the area. The Habitat for Humanity Choptank hosted the event and residents were able to come together for the day voice their ideas of what they’d want the town to be and look like. Information about home repairs, future plans for the town and more were also available. Officials say events like these are important to get everyone on the same page so they can finally see change.

“Those who have come have made a commitment to work together and be visible to make the statement that we as a community are moving forward, we need everybody’s hands habitat has many hands working together and the city of Cambridge is utilizing the resources we have in partnership with so many people to make that statement,” said Mayor of Cambridge Victoria Jackson-Stanley.

Officials add that they plan to hold many more events like these to continue to raise awareness about the plans they have to revitalize the town.
