UPDATE: Victim dies after shooting in Easton; investigation ongoing

Easton police are now releasing the identity of the victim involved in a shooting on Monday night.

Police say they found 23-year-old Jorian Edwards in the area of Tubman Drive, after responding to reports of shots fired. Authorities say Edwards was transported to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators say they have gathered information leading them to three male suspects, who were seen fleeing the area before police arrived.

An investigation is ongoing.

A man has died after a shooting in Easton on Monday night.

According to police the incident happened around 8:46 p.m. on Tubman Drive. Police say the 23 year old victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Detectives tell 47 ABC that the next of kin has been notified.

An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
