Troopers are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect after they say a Felton man was killed as a result of a hit and run incident.

Delaware State Police say on Saturday, between 3:15 AM and 3:44 AM, a fatal crash happened on (U.S. 13) South DuPont Highway southbound, just south of Plymouth Road, north of Felton. Troopers say a white Toyota Highlander SUV was traveling southbound on (U.S. 13) South DuPont Highway, in the area of the 9000 block of South DuPont Highway, when it struck a bicyclist. 

Authorities identified the victim 28-year-old William O. Boyer of Felton. 

According to the report, the vehicle in the photo and the driver fled the scene. Authorities say the vehicle involved in the incident should have damage to the front right bumper. Authorities released video footage related to the incident. 

This crash remains under investigation.
