A man has died after troopers say he was shot in the head earlier this week in Delaware.

Delaware State Police say on Friday, 18-year-old Trevor McClements, of Seaford, died as a result of his injuries from a Laurel shooting. Troopers say on July 9, an altercation happened involving multiple subjects  in the area of the 200 building in Carvel Gardens Apartments, when the victim was shot by an unknown suspect. According to the report, investigators discovered McClements on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities also say a second male victim suffered lacerations to his hand and face, and was treated and released from Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.

On July 20, the DSP Homicide Unit says they are attempting to identify two women and a man in connection with the homicide investigation. Troopers say they are also trying to locate the silver or light colored 2012-2015 Chevrolet Impala in the above photo.

This incident remains under investigation by DSP.
