UPDATE: Power restored after hundreds were impacted by Choptank Electric Cooperative power outage

Around 12:45 PM, officials say power should be restored in Kent County. 

According to Choptank Electric Cooperative, customers still without power should report the outages using the SmartHub app or calling the outage reporting umber at 1-800-410-4790.

Officials say Thursday's power outage impacted over 600 people in Kent County. 

Around 11:20 AM, Choptank Electric Cooperative say 4,525 members are currently without power between Kent and Cecil counties. Officials say 610 people are currently without power in Kent County. 

According to Choptank Elelctric Cooperative  Delmarva Power has lost connection with some of their transmission lines and they are working with Delmarva Power. Officials currently do not have an estimated time of restoration.
