Suspect sought in connection with Dewey Beach burglary

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect after they say he was involved in a burglary at a Dewey Beach business.

The Dewey Beach Police Department says on Saturday, officers responded to the 1900 block of Coastal highway for a commercial burglary. Police say Woody's East Coast Bar and Grill reported that an unknown man entered through a locked door and stole beer and cash.

Authorities say the incident was captured on the business's surveillance system. This incident remains under investigation.
