Sen. Coons joins in on Delaware fair traditions

U.S. Senator Chris Coons fried some crabs at the Delaware State Fair on Friday.
According to Coons, he loves coming out to the fair to enjoy the food and rides. Most importantly, he loves to meet the younger generations involved in the National FFA Organization that comes out to teach about Delaware farm animals and products.
Coons also said that he has visited the fair for decades.
"I first came to the state fair as a young man, but I've been coming back for 20 years and I've been coming every year as a senator, so it's great opportunity," said Coons
"One of the things that makes the fair special is how people who have known each other for years get together and get a chance to step away from the daily work," he said.
According to Coons, the fair is an opportunity to meet with relatives and friends who have made the annual event a tradition for years.
